2024-08 Svalbard

Svalbard, Norway 2024

This was my 10th trip with BCJ and my 6th trip with Trevor LaClair. Alex Hansen was called in at the last minute to replace Grant Ordelheide when he had to bail. This was my second trip with Alex. Both guys were great, which is typical for any Backcountry Journey Trip.

Wendy and I went to Oslo and stayed 3 days there to see a bit of the city. From there we flew to Longyearbyen and boarded the boat "Virgo". The crew is very experienced in this type of trip and the guys (Jonas and Yves) from WildPhoto Travel were also good photographers and guides.

I never break these things into sub-albums but this one seemed like it would work better this way. We will see how it turns out.
