Kenya, Amboseli and Maasai Mara - February 2025

This was my 14th journey with Backcountry Journeys and my second trip with Casey Mannes (or Cooper, whatever) as my guide. It was an awesome trip and Africa is probably on my annual trip list forever.

This Topi and calf are busting a move becasue a Cheetah is coming at a run. The mother eventually turned and faced down the Cheetah. The Cheetah gave up. We never saw the calf again though, an it likely was a victim of one cat or another.
