This was another trip with Backcountry Journeys. Jon Resnick was our guide and he did an outstanding job.
It turns out that light pollution is a significant factor at Joshua Tree and we were plagued by a bright moon that set very late in the night giving us a narrow window to shoot Milky Way shots.
This album has only a few shots because our timing was tough and the window for our prime purpose (the Milky Way) was pretty narrow. As this album shows, I'm not a great landscape photographer so when the stars weren't available, I didn't find much to shoot.
In the end my favorite photo from this trip is the sunrise sun star through the Joshua Tree.
