Churchill Canada Aurora - February 2019

TThis was the very first photography trip of my retirement. Wendy thought I was nuts going someplace that was forecast to be 40 degrees below zero. And it was cold. But damn what an experience! Churchill was definitely not a luxury accommodation type trip.

Natural Habitat tours put the trip together and our photo guide Holly was very nice and knowledgeable. The Aurora was faint on the first night and just got better each successive night. On our last night, our skeptic, Wendy, wept. I guess I wasn't nuts after all.
